Ares’ pov

Since I told Jason about the future threat we might face, he’s been multitasking. Expanding himself way more than usual. Having numerous meetings with Josh and the rest. He barely has time to cook for Adriana and I anymore. It took a lot of convincing to get Adriana to believe her dad was just busy and not avoiding her. She was worried she broke her promise of being a good girl.

I wasn’t exactly avoiding Madison, but I didn’t want to worry her with talks of threats on our lives when she’s pregnant. So I did what any good friend does, I say hi and pretend like nothing’s wrong which I assumed Luke was also doing.
