Chapter 26

Adira’s POV

Lyra made herself at home in our room and was lying on the bed in her bedroom watching television while I went into the bathroom to freshen up. My nerves began to consume me as I tried to open the toothpaste to brush my teeth, but I kept fumbling with the cap. Why was I so nervous? It was just dinner with Alpha Liam. He had already told me he wanted me as his Luna and tomorrow we were going to seal that.

Butterflies now began to dance in my belly at the thought of us actually being united tomorrow as one and I honestly couldn’t wait to become his. But right now, I felt nervous just going out with him and something told me this was my first date.

There was a knock on our door and I knew it had to be Alpha Liam coming for me. Quickly, I took one last look in the mirror before I headed into the living area to answer the door, but Lyra had beat me to it and she was giving her brother the talk like a parent would give to a suiter that was to take their daughter on a date.
