Liam’s POV

She had told me that her name was Adira and here standing in front of me are two she wolves that recognize her as Aira and say that she has accepted another Alpha’s proposal. This was the situation that I was trying to avoid from the start by waiting to see if she was betrothed to someone else. But I had let my guards down and let myself feel for this she wolf. Now I am the one to get hurt as I am the one that has to do what is right by walking away from what we had started.

“I’m sorry, but I think you have me confused for someone else.” Adira tells the two she wolves and they leave out a giggle and say, “Oh, we are so sorry for the mistake.” As they wink at her.

Adira gives them a confused look, like what was going on and I could tell that she didn’t recognize the she wolves, but of course that’s because she has no memories of her past life.
