Liam’s POV Alpha Zane had a lockdown put on the packhouse. No one was allowed to come in or go out. As we started to gather the warrior’s names that the elder had given us. Thankfully, Alpha Zane’s father assisted us doing so and was a great help with locating the warriors on our list. There was one name that stood out plain as day to me and that was Jeffery Wilson, Adira’s father, which we still didn’t have a location on him or the rest of the family. Adira’s POV Hours had to have passed, maybe even the night, and I began to wonder if Alpha Liam was coming for us. The bond I felt for him remained intact and I hoped that meant he was okay, and that the elders didn’t imprison him. Liam’s POV Alpha Zane and I had retreated to his office after the interrogation of all those involved with the elders. Both of us needed a drink badly and we needed to come up with a plan to rescue our mates. As we sat there regrouping our thoughts with our drink in hand, there was a knock on Alpha Zane’s door. When the person entered, they held an envelope in their hand and handed it to Alpha Zane, and then quickly left the room. Adira’s POV Six warriors are all that my father had left to guard us. Was he that sure of himself, that the cell and chains that he had put us in would hold us? Of course, if it wasn’t for Lyra, that cell may have done the trick, and I was happy that Alpha Liam had kept Lyra’s abilities a secret from the rest of the pack, but I was still shocked that he thought so little of my abilities to get us out of here. Liam’s POV Alpha Zane now had his foot to the floor and there was no need to follow the man that delivered the letter since we know where our mates were now. The problem was getting there in time before whoever was at the door got to them. Thankfully, Lyra had found a piece of mail with the address on it and I typed it into the GPS. Adira’s POV Something inside of me felt broken and all I wanted to do was to leave this house and go back to Nightshade and forget that all this happened. I had trained for years with Alpha Zane to be a warrior. What happened today I was not prepared for. Adira’s POV My wolf didn’t like being here at the Blood Moon packhouse and I knew it had to do with Alpha Xavier.
