I was on the second floor about to proceed to the third floor when my wolfie ears twitch, they seems to be a very serious discussion in Drayce office.

"I will kill him if he stands in my way"

"We can't afford to do that alpha,"

What exactly were they talking about, kill who? And who would stand in his way?

I felt like something was lodge in my throat as butterflies fluttered in my stomach, I was a nervous wreck.

Confused on what they were talking about, I only hope what happened this morning wasn't the reason for their discussion.

My mind was reeling as my heart felt like it had been dipped in a bucket of silver, burning it.

What if the blood belongs to someone I killed while sleep walking? What if it someone from this pack?

I quickly shook my head and descended to the first floor, no I had to find out what's going on with me first before I tell him. Maybe I was just overthinking things and burdening him with it will just be selfish of me.
