The Birthmark

Luna’s Point of View: 

I stormed out of that place and run to the forest. I climb on one of the tallest trees shortly until I reached its peak. I sat on its branch while watching the view of the city where I was standing earlier, the whole city is drenched in blood, it’s visible even in a distance. 

Then a flash of the crying kid earlier pestered in my mind. I shouldn’t give any compassion to that kid, she’s a human after all. But seeing her eyes made me pity her, and give me the thought that humans are weak. Especially in these surprising events, they couldn’t even defend themselves and let those werewolves end their lives. If I didn’t come earlier, that kid is surely a lump of dead meat by now.
