FREYA POVImmediately after breakfast, I took an excuse from Kye. I ran to the back of the maid quarters and threw up. I threw up everything I ate that morning, my stomach felt empty after. ACE POVI woke up the next morning feeling more content than I've been in a long time. Seeing Freya's face was like a breathe of fresh air. It was like life had been restored back to me. After we stopped the rogues from getting the wolfsbane from the mountain, it gave a new source of hope to people in the pack. Made them believe that there was hope to defeat Kye and his tyrants. It gave them stamina to keep training harder. To keep fighting harder. Freya did all of this. After she told me everything that she had been through since she got to the rogue territory and how she overcame, I couldn't have been more proud of her. I'll learn not to doubt her or her strength next time. I'm less worried about her safety, knowing that she's fully capable of taking care of herself. I went to meet mother at her chambers. She requested to meet with me. I didn't know what it was about but I could guess. I went inside and she was already waiting for me. She was standing. This ought to be serious.

FREYA POVFortunately, today I woke up with no dreams or no revelations like the sage called them. Today was the day, the day I was going to sway Jacob to our side. With the information that Neveah gave me, It would be much easier that way. FREYA POVAfter my talk with Jacob I went back to my chambers. I was happy I had crossed this milestone. Jacob was going to be a huge asset to us. Ace would be happy about this. Today was Day 5, I would see him today, finally, I had been counting down the days till I would see him again. I woke up with renewed hope today. Feeling happier than I had in days. I was going to go for a walk with Neveah in the afternoon. I wore my clothes and went to the maid quarters to get Neveah. We were both about to leave. We almost crossed the gate. FREYA POVI stayed with Kye as he continued telling stories about Michael. If I said I was listening I would be lying. I couldn’t even eat the bunnies that were killed. I know I would throw up once again if it entered my stomach. I just made up an excuse that I wasn't that hungry. Thankfully Kye didn't suspect a thing."More for me then." He just said."Did you hear me Thea?" He said and I was snapped back to reality. "I'm sorry. I've just been feeling a bit unwell after I vomited." I said "It's fine. I told you we could go home. We didn't have to stay." He said "This was important to you Kye." I said "You're more important." He said. He reached out to touch my face. He caressed my face tenderly."You don't know how much you mean to me Thea." He said. His eyes shining with affection, it looked so intense. He began to lean closer to me. FREYA POVKye glared at me. His hands still pinning mine tightly. How I'm I going to get out of this situation? He was drunk, extremely drunk."Do you not want me?" he whispered. His voice sounded rough and angry."Kye, you're drunk. You don't know what you're doing. Just let me go" I said."I know exactly what I'm doing. I just need you so much, Thea. You don't know how hard it's been watching you without having to touch you or claim you." He said stroking my cheek with his fingers. I turned my face the other way and closed my eyes crying."Why are you crying? I'm not hurting you," he said. "I'm just not ready Kye," I said my voice breaking slightly."When are you ever going to be ready? Aren't you supposed to be comfortable with me by now?" He asked. I didn't say anything to that, I just kept sobbing. I was scared now. What if he hurts me? What if he forces himself on me? I will not let that happen! I'll fight him if I have to. Kye looked at me. His face looked hurt by my silence.

FREYA POVYou're pregnant That was all I could hear, it was ringing in my ears. I looked at Neveah and she seemed worried about me. I was still shocked by the news to feel anything but when the shock dulled down. I could only feel one thing. Happy. Ace and I are going to have a baby.I looked at Neveah and a look of pure joy erupted on my face. "I'm pregnant. Ace and I are going to have a child Neveah" I said to her smiling widely that one would think my lips would split into two. Neveah smiled back but she still had a worried look on her face. I knew why. How was I going to hide this from Kye? This only meant one thing. I had to go home. I can't risk my baby's life. Being here on my own is one thing. FREYA POVI sat on the floor all night crying my eyes out. Kye hasn't come back since last night.
