FREYA POV

The pain of loss is unbearable.

I have experienced it a lot in my lifetime.

There's the hole that lodges itself in your heart. It makes you feel empty and void.

After finding out about Ralia's death and running to her room to find it empty, I stayed on her bed all day trying to feel close to her. I asked for privacy. I did not want anyone to be with me right now.

I remembered how we didn't like each other before to how we became friends and then sisters from different mothers.

I remembered all her dreams. She wanted to get married, have children! All that was taken away from her. I started to cry again when I remembered.

"Oh, Ralia." I said crying.

"Why did you leave so soon? You still had a lot to do, a lot to see!" I said. I touched my belly.

"You promised me you'd be here with me when I give birth every step of the way. Why did you break your promise?" I sobbed. The door opened and Ace stepped in and laid down beside me.

"My love, you have to eat. Also, you need some res
