CHAPTER 48

RALIA POV

The war intensified as time went. It looked brutal; dead bodies everywhere and so much blood! I didn't know where the others were.

We separated as soon as the war started. Everywhere was filled with smoke and it made it a little bit hard to see. My vision is very sharp and that's one thing I was proud of.

Some men came towards me. It was a bit hard to kill them because I was losing strength due to the amount of men I had fought with. What kept me going was remembering what I was fighting for. Who I was fighting for. I had to remain strong for her.

I went behind a shed to regain my strength. I didn't think anyone would find me here. I felt a bit of dread in my stomach, like something was going to happen and then the fear came back tenfold.

"Ralia, you're stronger than this. Everything is going to be fine. Do not fear death. If you're going to die, you're not going to die fearing death." I said a tear falling down my eyes.
