CHAPTER 37

LYDIA POV

I sat on the bed waiting for Kiran to come back. I'm sure it has not been that long since I left him but it felt like hours.

I was missing him already. I cannot believe what was I was thinking. I never thought a day would come when I would yearn for someone this much, want to be with someone this much. I smiled at my smitteness.

After a very long time I was happy and maybe I would say content. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes for a while. I heard the door open and sat up.

"You're back" I said.

"Yes, I just needed some air." He said. I frowned. He looked at me, walked over and held my hand.

"Not like that. I used up a lot of power. Air helps me concentrate better." He said and my face softened.

"Lydia, I do not feel guilty or disturbed by what I did, so please do not feel that way." He said.

"Okay." I said. His body had traces of blood on it. He must feel uncomfortable.

"Do you want to have a bath?" I asked.
