Chapter 21

The elders were seated in the study room as the clock struck noon. Eli ran his fingers in his silver streaked hair as he waited impatiently with the rest for the alpha. He didn't want to be here because he had a guess what the meeting was all about, but, he knew better than to disobey Grey.

Grey strode into the study room, and walked over to his seat behind his desk. The five elders were seated separately. Two in front of Grey, and the rest on the grey sofa, rested against one side of the wall. They stood up to greet him in respect

"Greetings, elders. I had a few things to take care of," he said, explaining his lateness without really tendering an apology. "Do sit," he added.
