Violet POV

There were seven Elders that presided over the council. These Elders were like a governing body that every werewolf pack had and it ensured harmony and stability within the werewolf packs. The Elders were seasoned and wise werewolves who had demonstrated their deep understanding of werewolf traditions and laws. I should’ve full faith in them. Right?

There were chairs in front of the long semi-circular table at which the Elders sat. The chairs were divided into five rows separated by an aisle. Along with Alpha Dane and Jackson, I went to sit on the right. Ilene and Emily were on the left side and both of them shot glares at me. It was 3AM in the morning and for the love of the goddess, I was getting irritated by the minute.
