Clark smiled slyly, knowing that Vennina would ultimately have to comply, even without an agreement. But he realized that making a deal would be more advantageous than confronting her head-on. Clark decided to offer a fair reward.

"Don't you miss your freedom, Vennina?"

Vennina fell silent momentarily, her eyes trying to decipher Clark's unpredictable expression. She had to find out if she could truly trust this man.

"How can I know that you'll keep your promise?" Vennina pressed with a skeptical tone.

Clark laughed with a cutting, sarcastic tone. After mocking Vennina to his satisfaction, he again stared at her with a demeaning expression.

How could a prisoner like her doubt an offer of freedom like this?

"You have no choice, Vennina. I can reveal all your secrets if you reject my offer. Isn't this the best opportunity you've ever had?"
