The two of us got out of the secret house but were shocked by whom we saw, it was Sandro. He stood in front of us with a despicable smirk.

“What's going in, Sandro? Shouldn't you be resting?” I asked.

“Not when I haven't reached my goal.”

“What do you mean? What goal?”

I could feel that something was off, but I couldn't place it. All I know is that I need to protect Beth, even if it cost me my life.

“Beth..... I need her to come with me.”

“Why would I come with you?” She scoffed gently.

“Because I'm going to take you to where you belong. You are only going to ruin our plans.”
