Estelle POV

“Are you okay?” I heard a soft voice.

“W.water,” I mumbled, my throat dry. I could feel someone moving around, and when I was given the water, I gulped it down hungrily. I breathed out, blinking repeatedly. I looked up, and I was in an unfamiliar room with Queen Aurora beside me.

“Welcome back,” she said, smiling. I remembered everything I saw, and the only person I wanted to see was Aurelian.

“My mate,” I mumbled. She opened her mouth to talk, but the door flew open, and Aurelian ran inside. He ran to me, seat on the bed, and took me into his warm arms.

“You are awake,” he mumbled, breathing out in relief.

“I will excuse you two,” Queen Aurora said, but we ignored her. All I could remember was his broken look as he stared at the Aurora portrait, tears running down his face. I held him tight, my heart beating for him, even though I knew it was a forgotten memory. We didn’t exchange any words, but just held each other tight. He breathed a sigh of relief, kissing my head.
