Aurelian POV

We stopped in front of a cave, and I kept standing here.

“We have been riding for too long; what is going on?” Felix asked. I smiled.

“I am waiting for Estelle to direct us,” I said.

“Estelle, I thought you said you were going to keep her safe?” Aunt Clara asked.

“Yes, but she can’t lie to me. I know she would be up to something; Estelle can’t just stay out of everything,” I said, coming down from the horse. I walked to the cave, and I felt the energy again—very dark energy.

“The energy is dark,” Aunt Clara said. I nod my head.

“This is where he is hiding,” I said.

“We don’t have any witches to help us break it,” Rodney said. I smiled.

“We wait for Estelle,” I said. I was worried about her, but on our journey here, I realised I shouldn’t have wanted to lock her up. I can’t shield her from this war; it is all about her and what Aurora has passed on to her. I was worried about our pup and her.
