Estelle POV

I looked at the men training; they were training hard, their bodies drenched in sweat.

“The king is not backing down; he is training these warriors hard,” Zira said, sitting beside me. I nod my head. I am actually surprised, but I shouldn’t be. He is the Lycan king and has been one for years; he has been to many battles and has won; this wasn’t his first time.

“Nothing from Kion?” she asked, whispering very low. I shook my head.

“I am a bit worried,” I said, smacking my lips. It has been 2 weeks, and I haven’t heard anything from him. Aurelian has refused to include me in anything concerning the war, but Adrain updates me. They have no idea where he is; they are trying to track him but always end up blocked. I know it’s because the beach is hidden, but I feel proud. They know Kion is near, but something is restricting them.

Aurelian is really a great king, smart, calculative, and powerful. The best king the wolves could ever have. But I really don’t want this war. I feel
