Kendrick held Faith's small and cold hand tightly in his large fist while looking at her carefully.

Her face was filled with different wounds and cuts. He slowly and shakily raised his hands and touched her face delicately as if she would break down any moment. And all the places he was touching, the marks were vanishing into thin air.
