57. "SHE IS MY MATE!"

Aaron’s POV

In my office, there stood Dr. Griffin in front of me.

While Olive was grieving for her Grandmother at tonight's funeral, I called Griffin to my office so we could have a chat. We definitely have a lot to discuss.

"What's your true connection with Olive?" I asked.

Griffin, who had been fixated on the ground, shifted his gaze towards me. He took a deep breath before responding.

"Lycan Aaron," he spoke in a polite tone, though his expression betrayed a hint of disdain.

It had always been this way. He spoke with a veneer of respect, yet his eyes held a deep-seated contempt.

"I believe you are already aware of my relationship with Olive," Griffin stated. "Did you not overhear our conversation at the hospital?"

"Oh, you mean when I caught wind that the two of you were childhood acquaintances or something of the sort?"

"Yes," he replied. "Olive and I were childhood friends. We crossed paths when we were young."
