Chapter Thirty-three: Tristan's Mission.

LUCIEN'S POV

I left the room to the court to see the person I was told was waiting for me after telling Emily about Malcolm.

I came into the room, he was seated waiting for me. I sat down, he stood immediately. I waved at him, gesturing to him to sit down. He did.

“When I look at you, I see a betrayer and you know how I feel about betrayal.” I threw the words at him, clearly showing him I was angry.

He went on his knees immediately. “ I am sorry I couldn't betray you, you know that my Alpha. I am so sorry for what I did last time.

I let my feelings take over me. I did what was wrong. I am so sorry.. please forgive me.” He said it with his head bowed, I could feel his heavy heart and the sincerity in his voice.

I had no friends, Tristan was my only friend. We spent years together. I never expected to ever be in such situations like these with him.

“Why did you kiss her? What did you want from her, of all women?” My voice is cold.

“ I… It was lust. I am sorry, I will…” he stuttered.
