NOT THE ENDING (A HUNDRED ONE)

Blakely yelped in surprise when Nickson suddenly grabbed her by the shoulders and forced her to lie down next to him. Nickson wrapped his arms and legs around her until Blakely literally couldn't move anywhere.

"Since when did you wake up? You overheard my conversation with Reese?”

“You even speak very loudly. There's no way I wouldn't wake up."

Nickson grumbled while keeping his eyes closed. Nickson's chin was above the top of Blakely's head and his nose breathed in Blakely's always pleasant scent.

"Sorry. It is a tradition. He used to call me in the middle of the night at Christmas. He always wanted to be the first to wish me a Merry Christmas.”

"Okay. I'll be second then. Merry Christmas my dear wife."

“Merry Christmas my possessive and jealous husband.” Blakely pushed against Nickson's chest, trying to free herself from his arms and legs because she wanted to see Nickson's face.

"What are your hopes for Christmas this year?
