THE CLUB (NINETY SEVEN)
Nickson got out of his Jag and slammed the door loudly. Blakely was still in the car, trapped by fear and trepidation. What will Nickson do to her tonight? Was Nickson going to beat her up and tie her to the bed like psychopaths usually do?
Knock knock
A knock on the window interrupted Blakely's thoughts. She stuttered when she saw Nickson command in a loud voice she could even hear in a soundproof car.
"Down. Now!"
With a very slow motion, Blakely unbuckled her seatbelt, then stepped out hesitantly.
"We have conditions and issues we need to talk about."
"Your parents are inside. We can't possibly fight in front of them."
"I know." Nickson cursed inwardly. When he wanted to vent all his anger, his mother and father were accompanying Arthur in there.
"I'll throw them away."
"What? You are crazy. Don't be rude to your parents just because you're mad at me."
"I'll do it slowly. Wait for me in my study.”

Blakely was awakened by the sound of the telephone ringing above the nightstand. It sounded noisy and deafening in her too-quiet room.
