Chapter Nineteen

Lola stepped into her apartment, drained. She locked the door behind her and crumbled on the floor. She let the tears that she had been trying to hold back for so long pour out. She didn't want to cry in front of Camille and Chad, she didn't want them to see what she was now, broken. Yes that was what Lola felt like now, broken and alone.

Camille and Chad had been her only friends for so long and now without the two of them in her life anymore she was certainly alone and she was beginning to feel it. She remembered the pain she had felt when she had seen the both of them lying together on the bed in that position. She knew that it was most likely nothing, that they had probably not been doing anything but it didn't make much of a difference and it didn't do anything to dull the pain and the sheep feeling of betrayal she felt.
