Chapter 47

As Mrs. Valentio slowly opens her eyes, she sees the sun peeking through the curtains, indicating that it is time to get up and start her day. She tries to stretch her arms and legs, but her muscles are stiff from a long and tiring evening the previous day.

With a slight groan, Mrs. Valentio swings her feet over the edge of the bed and stands up. She takes a deep breath as she walks towards the mirror hanging on the wall. She looks at her reflection and is reminded of the lines and wrinkles on her face that have developed over time. Nevertheless, she feels grateful for having lived a long and fulfilling life.

She begins to slowly dress, choosing her clothes carefully as a reflection of her personality. She starts with a light-colored blouse, with a brightly colored scarf tied around her neck. She then selects a pair of dark jeans which hug her hips comfortably.
