Vanessa’s P.O.V

The mating ceremony

I woke up filled with anxiety and excitement, I’d never been this well rested. If only my mother was here to talk me through it, but I still felt her presence telling me to be strong. After I’d taken a shower, I went to the packhouse dinner to have breakfast.
