Vanessa’s P.O.V

The alarm went off signaling it was time to wake up, but I was still sleepy. I was no longer the slave girl and I could extend my sleep for a little bit longer.

“Luna Vanessa, you’re late. The alpha has requested for your presence.” The guard shouted through the door as he knocked loudly. I turned as I looked at the alarm clock, shit, I was late by two hours. “Stop knocking, damn, I’m up.” I shouted at the annoying guard. “I’ll be down in thirty minutes, I need to prepare myself.” I ordered him. Damn, I was starting to enjoy my new position in the pack. I headed for the shower and the cold bath left me wide awake and quickly dressed and headed downstairs .

“Vanessa, you must have been quite tired.”Alpha Marcus suggested as everyone stared at me.

“Good morning to you too alpha.”I replied ignoring his comments. “ Beta Dwayne , Ella.” I acknowledged their presence. “It’s Luna Ella, Vanessa.” Ella said .
