I stared at the mark on the bastard’s arm, feeling anger slide like bile up my throat. How could I not have noticed the damn mark for more than three hours? Damn it! It really irritated me that it was Raul who found out the truth about everything. It was not his place to do that, but he had done it anyway.

The rapist was laughing now as though he had won some invincible battle, and it annoyed the crap out of me. I pulled my hand back, hitting him across the face, and he almost got knocked down, save for the chair protecting him.

"Come," I said softly to Raul. He straightened up a bit as he glared at me. "I need to talk to you, Raul," I grumbled.

Raul shrugged his shoulders lightly as he nodded lightly at me. We both walked over a safe distance. Our eyes were still trained on the rapists, who were now somber. The fact that there had been a security breach and the guards barely knew about it until it happened with Vail made me more annoyed.
