The air was so stuffy and nauseating. I looked around the bland walls, shocked that something like this existed in this modern age. The noise also made matters worse. Why did I have to come here in the first place?

'To find out the truth about your accident, Andrea,' my wolf said softly.

I slid my hands through my hair as I looked around, only to see Lady Meade and Nikolai step into the enclosed cell. What the hell was she doing here? She kept touching her blue gown as though she was unsure of herself. This wasn’t good.

Taking a deep breath, I slowly made my way into the small cell. None of the occupants knew I was there. I shook lightly as I watched the guard bled as he weakly tried to release his hands from the ropes. He couldn’t. He was stuck to the chair, and he had no saving grace.
