Sonia's POV

I stood there, my heart pounding in my chest, while my brain replayed every word I had told Michael, and for a moment I wished I could take them back. But on a second thought, I had told him nothing but the truth, so why should I be blamed for however he decided to take it?I was done blaming myself for everything.

It seemed as if I had sat on my bed with my knees drawn up and cradled in my arms for forever. my tears had dried, and outside, the sun was completing its descent.
