CHAPTER 55

Luna." Ashford called, shaking her.

She didn't move as he glanced down at her. Since he was growing up, he had never had someone he cared for injured in front of him. He dropped her to the floor and stared at the arrow in her chest. He broke the top and gently turned her over. He pulled the arrow off her, and blood began gushing out of the wound.

He tore his shirt and pressed it against the wound. She was losing a lot of blood, and he slowly closed his eyes. He had not perfectly mastered the healing power, but it could stop the blood.

He muttered some words and an orange glow began glowing in her wounds. His eyes opened as he saw it working. He continued, and the blood began to dry. The wound began healing little by little. He removed the cloth he had placed on the wound and watched her. The wound had completely healed, but she was still unconscious. He hugged her, pulling her tightly to his chest.

"You would be alright; you would be fine."

Just then he heard footsteps behind him.
