CHAPTER 60

"Wolfbane? Do they want to poison us?" Bartram asked and sniffed the net too. "It's really wolfbane."

"We have to get out of here."

Bones began snapping in the net, and they both shifted. The net snapped and broke, making them fall and stand in all fours. It was sure there was someone watching them, but they clearly couldn't see anyone.

'Rain, calm down. Can you smell our mate?' Adrian asked his wolf.

'No. Our mate is not here.'

Bartram mindlinked Adrian. 'Let's leave now."

'No way, we haven't found Luna.'

'She is not here!' Bartram snapped. 'I lied, and not we are in trouble.'

Rain growled, clearly annoyed by Bartram's words.

'What do you mean she is not here?'

'I will explain later; we can't meet the Alpha; Ashford is a totally different person. Luna is at home, in our house, but she is badly injured. Let's go!'
