Eric’s POV I couldn’t believe she broke her promise to me. I knew who she met up with, but still, I expected her to tell me. I didn’t really care who she had to meet. I knew she wouldn’t cheat on me whatsoever, but every time she wasn’t close, my anxieties rose up. I couldn’t sleep for fear of her disappearing on me. That thought kept me up all night. It was as if he wanted to come between us. His ridiculous demands were just appalling. He knew I was with Phoebe and needed my attention. It was quite surprising at the beginning, but I caught up as soon as he suggested to Phoebe that they should meet up. We hid ourselves to give them some privacy, but knowing Cloud, he would definitely find something fishy about the hideout. They occasionally met up after their encounter with Cloud to brainstorm ways to catch George. However, George proved to be a challenging target, especially with Vanessa by his side, making it nearly impossible to bring him down. Adding to their difficulties, he was protected by an underground boss who commanded fear among many. Eric reluctantly realized he had no choice but to collaborate with his brothers to gather more information about the underground boss.
