As promised. New chapter .. Continuing with My Brother, My Enemy.. Hope you enjoy..
Phoebe’s POV: There were so many things to consider if I were to take his side. He was confident and proud, never letting his guard down. “So you knew of his attack?” “Attack!?” “He came to me with the evidence, as I said earlier. This evidence is enough to ruin you, as I said before. You have the evidence before you. How can I be sure you are not the one in these pictures?” He became silent for a moment. “So, this explains why my dear sister thinks I am into such illicit behavior.” “Huh!” I exclaimed. “Do I look like one to you?” He asked. I raised an eyebrow. “It’s not written on any man’s face that he is gay?” Hahahaha!! His laughter gave me chills. “Well, that is true,” he said as he wiped a tear from his eye. “Perhaps this situation is funny to you?” I asked, a little upset. He smiled. “He is my step-brother, not related by blood. George is an angry bastard who doesn’t know his place. The same with his brothers. I care less about what they do, think, or say about me
Eric’s POV I couldn’t believe she broke her promise to me. I knew who she met up with, but still, I expected her to tell me. I didn’t really care who she had to meet. I knew she wouldn’t cheat on me whatsoever, but every time she wasn’t close, my anxieties rose up. I couldn’t sleep for fear of her disappearing on me. That thought kept me up all night. I never agreed for her to move out, but Phoebe was very independent. She hated the idea of not being able to do things her own way. Surprisingly, I found it attractive. Honestly, I believed she would have told me everything if she had remembered in the first place. So forgetful... When Andrew told me who she had gone to meet, I was startled for a moment. After Andrew helped me out with putting a GPS in the wristwatch I gave Phoebe, a few days later, he came out to me opposing it. I had assured him I would take it out, but I didn’t. And now he has no idea of the GPS being in the wristwatch. He would probably scold me like
Phoebe’s POV This man never ceases to amaze me. He could tell right away that he was being listened to. Diana signaled for me to deny it. I was sure he wouldn’t believe me. But I couldn’t just let him have his way. If only he had been patient with me and called earlier today, things might have been much better than they are now. I looked up at her. I hated doing things that weren’t in my interest. I sighed. “Why are you quiet? It only confirms the psychopath is with you.” “What if he is?” That wasn’t what Diana wanted me to say. I couldn’t dare look up anymore. I might be hit by a thunderstorm if I did. “That’s good, then he should know I would find him and kick his butt for not keeping his promise,” he threatened. “I told you, he has no idea I met up with you, Cloud. If he did, he would probably be the one calling you.” He suddenly became quiet. “Fuck!” he cursed. He bought into my lie. It was bound to happen anyway. “Why do you want to meet up?” “Do you need
Eric’s POV: I wasn’t upset, or anything of that sort. Well, maybe a little. I won’t deny I liked the idea of them pressuring Phoebe. She shouldn’t have hidden it from me in the first place, but I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I had to defend her, until the call came in. Cloud knew no shame. It was as if he wanted to come between us. His ridiculous demands were just appalling. He knew I was with Phoebe and needed my attention. It was quite surprising at the beginning, but I caught up as soon as he suggested to Phoebe that they should meet up. We hid ourselves to give them some privacy, but knowing Cloud, he would definitely find something fishy about the hideout. Just as I predicted, he knew I was watching him, and so was he. “I dare you to touch her,” I commanded his bodyguards. He chuckled. He hadn’t changed. Just one look at his smirked face, and memories I had once forgotten came to mind. I remembered his hatred for me and my family. I was so sure he was happ
Diana led the team with a plan to catch George red-handed, dividing them into two teams: Team Kim and Team Hong. Meanwhile, Eric and his brothers had to put aside their differences to work together. Eric, still upset about false rumors circulating about Phoebe and Cloud being a couple, asked Andrew to investigate the source responsible for spreading the misinformation. They occasionally met up after their encounter with Cloud to brainstorm ways to catch George. However, George proved to be a challenging target, especially with Vanessa by his side, making it nearly impossible to bring him down. Adding to their difficulties, he was protected by an underground boss who commanded fear among many. Eric reluctantly realized he had no choice but to collaborate with his brothers to gather more information about the underground boss. Seeking counsel from their grandfather, they faced initial hesitation but ultimately received his assistance. After overcoming several obstacles, both
Phoebe’s POV Philip and I were the only ones unable to escape. Fortunately Yoon Eum and the new assistant to Diana were also able to escape. “Fuck!”he cursed. We were trapped. It suddenly became quiet. Moses was no where to be found. But his men were still lurking around. We had to use sign language, which I suck at it. Philip kept signaling me to do something I just couldn’t guess. We were separated after being shot at. We couldn’t communicate. We had to leave, if we wanted to stay alive. I scanned around to see if there was an opening. The was, but unfortunately Moses was close by, holding a gun. “Fools, you think you can outsmart me, oh you don’t fool me. I am going to get rid of you and make sure your dear Eric regret ever knowing me!”, Moses kept rumbling. I locked eyes with Philip, using my hand, I pointed at the opening. He nodded. I had a gun, but with only a bullet left. I couldn’t dare waste it. To get out of here we need to come forward. Attacking
Phoebe and Philip, we’re still being followed. The street of New York welcomed them with opened arms. She tightened her grip on the wheel and followed the instructions to Philip. “Phoebe, make a curve”She nodded. She long pressed on the brake and made curve, Philip took out the gun and pointed at the CSR behind them. Two shots to their front mirror. They were unable to follow back. “They are off our tail” “For now,”“Do you think the rest made it”“Probably”Suddenly a call came in. Philip placed it on loud speaker.“Diana”“Are you guys safe” “Yes, you guys?”“The same here. We are headed to the De-royals”“What why?” Phoebe asked.“We can’t explain on the phone, meet us there,”“Ok”they both responded. Meanwhile, Moses and his men had lost track of Phoebe and Philip. He was so upset and agitated..He made a phone call to George. Informing him about what had just happened. He warned him if their plan to sabotage him. But George was confident in his plan to become the next pr
Eric's POVWe had to use whatever means necessary to catch George on our way to the coronation.Suddenly, we received a call from an unknown number.I picked it up and put it on speaker.“Hello.”“Hello, this is Fin De-royal,” he said.I could sense the uneasiness and fear in his voice.“Fin, you’re the little brother of Cloud and George, right?”“Y-yes.”Cloud couldn’t believe his ears. His eyes widened. He was angry and fired up.He would have smashed his brother’s face if he was in front of him.Diana tapped him on the shoulder, signaling him to calm down.“What do you want?” I continued to ask.“Are you with Cloud?”“No,” I answered without thinking. I knew it was a trick question, but I had nothing to lose.“Where is he then?”“Do you plan on asking me questions about your brother, or will you tell me why you are calling?”He was silent for a moment. “I want to help bring down George. He is not fit for the company,” he muttered.“Oh, why call me when you can just call your brother
