“What will you eat?” Alice asked me.

“Order anything you like,” I replied her

“Today, you’ll order for yourself and me, so go ahead and place the order,” Alice said to me.

“I placed the order for both her and myself. I know Alice’s favorites, so I ordered some of those and some of mine,” I explained.

“You know what, Karen? I’m really happy that you’re going to be a mother,” I expressed in a very happy voice.

“When the reports come, and Devon finds out the baby is his, he’ll be very happy. He’ll apologize for his past behavior, take good care of you, and treat you well,” Alice predicted.

“Yes, you’re right. Devon will be thrilled when he learns the baby is his. He’ll surely apologize, and I’ll forgive him. We’ll start a new chapter with our baby, showering them with love, care, and providing a good upbringing to become a kind individual who never hurts others. I can’t wait.
