Can We Talk?

**Fancy's POV**

# Two weeks later

A lot had happened within the span of two weeks. My mom sold her home where she lived with her husband. She even got laid off from work. I had tried to hide the impact of the scandal from her, but she saw the last message from the only company I work for. They terminated my contract and they boldly stated the reason.

My mom collapsed when she saw this. I rushed her to the hospital where she got treated. After much deliberation, she decided that we both pack our things and return to Mexico.

But I had wanted to find out who did this to us. Whoever it was had succeeded in destroying us, which isn't fair. Whoever did this to us should be caught and punished, but my mom wouldn't let that happen. She just wanted us to leave.

We bought a small home in Mexico and we both lived together. I had earlier told my dad about what happened, and he was just as dumbstruck. He suggested that we all live together, but my mom wouldn't allow it.

I understand her and I
