I stretched my arm as I gazed at the clock, hanging on the wall. The time I've been waiting for has arrived. I pack my belongings, ready to go home. I don't know why I'm in a hurry to go home. But one thing is for sure, I'm tired.

As I was about to come out of my office, Paul suddenly appeared at the door.

“Miss, there's an abrupt meeting but Mr. Reid is not here, so he asks you to attend that one first.”

I release a sigh as I scratch the back of my neck.

“Just reschedule it for tomorrow.”

Connor should show up at the meeting, not me.
