Zaweel Banned from Returning to Aceh
Zaweel brought home his mother's favorite cake. He knows that Monika is still disappointed because of the rejection of last night's engagement. Even her mother didn't greet her this morning at the dinner table.
"Assalamualaikum, Mama!" greetings Zaweel entered the house and walked over to his mother who was preparing dinner.
"Waalaikumsalam," replied the mother without looking at her son.
"Mom, here I bought mommy's favorite cake." Zaweel handed him a box of moonlit cookies filled with cheese and sweet chocolate.
"Just put it there, the table is full," said Monika, pointing to the pantry. Usually Monika will smile happily accepting Zaweel's gift, but because she is still angry she hides her joy.
"Mommy is still angry, isn't she? If I bought all the carts, would you like to forgive Zaweel?"
With an innocent and sad face, Zaweel looked at his mother intently.
