Aiva's POV

My brother and I did hear Leo backing away from listening to our conversation. Actually, his scent was so strong earlier that I just didn't want to tell my brother I don't know if he knew or not.

“You mean you're going to continue the competition? I mean you don't have to do this because you are being pressured,” he tried to discourage me immediately.

I almost laughed but then again I did not laugh because it's not funny to me. I know he feels sorry and he made a mistake while trying to protect him. I was surprised to see my brother defending him earlier.
