My phone buzzed in my handbag, I pulled it out to check who it was, when I saw the caller ID was Gabriel, I felt safe.

“Cristela, where are you heading to." His voice came out sharp, there was no hello or hi, the question didn't even sit well with me.

“Why are you asking?." I asked him, feeling suspicious.

“You just left the coffee shop and now your cab is going the wrong way, did you get lost?."

“How did you know I'm in a cab?."

He was quiet, I turned to look at the cab closely following behind us.

“You told that guy to follow me and here I was thinking that I'm going to get kidnapped."

“I'm sorry. But where are you going?." He didn't deny the fact that he sent someone to follow me, to stalk me!.

“I'm going to my parents house."

“It's too early, I thought they asked for dinner."

I shrugged even when he wouldn't see it.
