Maeve POV

We appeared in the living room; of course, George teleported us here, and no one was in the living room.

“Where are you guys?” I mind linking Duncan.

“Maeve? Oh, thank fuck, you are here; the pack is under attack,” Duncan rushed.

“Where are the kids?” I asked.

“Odin said he kept them safe,” he said. I looked at Ario and George.

“I can’t believe they are attacking right after we left,” I said, going to our room to fetch my sword.

“Selene told them to attack because you two are not here and you’ve been gone for 5 days,” he said, following us. I entered the closet trying to change, but before I could do anything, my outfit changed to armor, and there was a sword in my hand. I gasped.

“My sword,” I said, looking at it. This is a special sword that can kill any god. This is the sword that killed Ario and I; how did he find it?

“Your sister tried to hide it, but I stole it,” he said, and even Ario was in armour and with a sword. I smiled.

“Okay, let’s go,” I said, and we rushed out
