Chapter Eighty-Two

•Lorenzo - Fourteen Years Old•

AFTER THREE MONTHS had passed, Aurora had managed to save enough money to be able to relocate to another country.

They chose to not dwell on what had happened, and their lives quickly returned to normal. Lorenzo resumed his daily routine of attending school and later making bakery deliveries, and Aurora filled her days with baking and working at the bakery.

Something in Aurora had changed, she became withdrawn from almost everyone but Lorenzo. She stopped going out, she stopped talking to her friends, and she even stopped going to church.
