I woke up to an empty bed; he had likely already gone off to work. I sighed, sat up, and leaned against the headboard, looking around the silent room.

Last night just broke my heart when we had that little argument. Why can't he see that I'm not worthy of his love? Why can't he understand how much I'm hurting him? How can someone forgive all the mistakes just because of how deeply they care for someone else?

It will be wrong of me to again take him away from his family. I remember the immense sadness and heartache he had experienced when he had to abandon the Cosa Nostra and his brothers to be with me.

I will be gone three days now and it all will be over for me... and for him. I wondered what would happen once I leave, what would Lorenzo do. He lived alone, maybe, he'd start fucking Reyna again.
