I sighed regretfully as I entered Niko's mansion, my gun still clutched tightly in my hands. The sight that greeted me was one I loved to see, Niko cradling Massimo with Evangeline seated beside them.

Niko's eyes fell on me and the smile vanished as it got replaced by a frowned look. "Lorenzo?"

Evangeline's eyes beamed at me with so much warmth, and I adored her deeply. Seeing her made me believe in the impossible because she looked just like Aurora with that ethereal aura of hers. She radiated the same innocence as Aurora had, stealing my breath away.

Everything about her reminded me of Aurora, that's why she was so special to me. She was never repulsed by my scars or the killing. After Aurora, she was the only one who really understood me and still held me so dearly.
