Chapter 21

Some dreams are probably meant to be broken. Eva had dreamed some dreams with Rafael , but everything changed in one night due to Rafael’s deception. Perhaps now Eva will be afraid to dream again. She had poured her heart and soul into those dreams, only to have them shattered by someone she trusted. It was a painful lesson to learn.

She was alone before, and now she is again alone, with the added weight of betrayal weighing heavily on her heart. Eva vowed to never let herself be so vulnerable again and to never trust so easily. As she picked up the pieces of her shattered dreams, she realized that she was stronger than she had ever thought possible. And although she may be alone now, she knows that she will never allow anyone to break her spirit again.

She's broken and needs time to heal and rebuild herself; she doesn't want to face him again after that awful party and hearing his ugly truth.
