Dario Dante has been quiet since Serena revealed who her mother was. If this was a shock to me, I don’t even want to know how Dante must feel right now. I know the burning of the Muratori heirs was like a stain on Dante’s life - he killed all those responsible, but the damage was done. After this, his infamy as il Drago grew, and he was known as the most vicious mafia leader. I looked over at Serena; she sat with her hands in her lap and held Dante’s jacket close. Serena It’s been almost two weeks of living in constant anxiety. I don’t know what my old family is planning, but I know my Pappa well enough to realize that it will be bloody.
