Frustration and Realization

In the middle of the night, when I stirred in my sleep. I saw Xavier was sleeping beside me, wrapping his arms around me. I smiled and nuzzled my face into his chest, and slept again. When I woke up in the morning, Xavier was again missing from the bed and was nowhere in the room. One of the servants informed me that he left early in the morning and would be late at night.
