SCARLETT

I rested for a while and leaned back. Hay, buti na lang nasa loob ng restaurant sila Lucien ng dumating ang mga kalaban kaya nagawa ko agad silang naligpit, kung nagkataon baka na-ambush na kaming tatlo.

A few minutes later, I saw the couples coming out of the restaurant. It was evident that they were happy, but my gaze fell on the paper bag that Lucien was holding. I smiled because I knew that they would take out food for me.

I straightened up and waited for them to reach the car. I peeked at the flowers and chocolates in the back seat. Sigurado akong matutuwa si Claire sa surprise ng boyfriend niya.

I pressed the button to open the back seat door and saw that Lucien had stopped in side of the car.

Napangiti ako ng buksan na ni Lucien ang pinto at bumungad kay Claire ang surprise sa kanya.

“Oh my gosh, Love!” Hindi makapaniwalang turan ni Claire. Napahawak pa siya ng bibig saka tumingin sa nobyo. Yumuko naman si Lucien para kunin ang pumpon
