Chp 14 Pt. 2 The Mate Bond

The minute I leave Maliyah’s room I go to find Dimitri. I know she is annoyed with me but I am glad I was able to get her to take off the bracelet. As soon as she leaves her room I’ll go retrieve it. I hate that I even suggested she go on a date with Luca, but I am hoping it’ll give us a chance to catch him with his guard down if he thinks we’re all getting comfortable with the fact that this relationship could happen. Though, in reality, I will never let this relationship happen.

I make my way through the forest to meet Dimitri. It’s not too far in so we can see who is coming and going of the house. When I arrive, I find Dimitri is already there waiting.

“You got her to take it off,” Dimitri asks.

“Yes, it’s in her jewelry box. We can grab it when she leaves, I convinced her to go find Luca to go on a date.”
