We arrive at the conference room and I realize that everyone has arrived in person. Alpha Brian of the West Coast bear Pack is here with his mate Neera and  Interim Alpha Henri is here with his mate Sarah. They’re raising the previous Alpha’s son when he and his mate Camille died from the attack on their flock in France. Little Andre should be about six by now. Alpha Ghalen is also here with his sister Amara. It looks like Ghalen has yet to find his mate. Lastly, Dimitri is also here to represent the coven and elder Katla is here representing the dragons.

Everyone gives me sad smiles, which is annoying, but I am glad they are not asking me how I am doing. I have been getting that question a lot lately and I am tired of answering it. I let Aspen lead me to two empty seats next to my parents just as the meeting is set to begin.
