Epilogue

LOGAN

I squinted as the sunlight assaulted my eyes.

"Ugh! It's too bright," I groaned.

"You are the only person who complains on a sunny day like this," Marina said and laughed.

"Whatever, let's just go inside," I suggested.

It has been four months since the whole ordeal went down. Things had calmed down since Dawn or Maya was charged with all those murders. This town was peaceful again.

Marina and I decided to move in together after I was released from the hospital. Well…she was the one who suggested it. She visited me every day until I was healed and took good care of me, so I couldn't say know. Besides, I was in love with her so I couldn't say no.

Things were going great, but one thing always bugged me.

Dawn had confessed to the police about all the people she killed, including those in her old hometown, but every time they questioned her about Marina's mother, and why she killed her, she denied it. She told them she
